Celebrities You Thought Are Long Gone But They Are Not Planning Their Retirement Just Yet

Celebrities come and go over the years, and we often forget about stars we used to love and idolize at one time during our lives. Sometimes, we even regard them as ‘dead’ if we haven’t heard about them in a while! However, you may be surprised to hear that some of the greatest actors, singers and other well-known public personalities are still very much alive and kicking! That’s why we’ve come up with this list to figure out who is still working or enjoying life in the next chapter of their lives – in retirement

Max Baer Jr – 83

Red-blooded Americans would definitely remember this familiar face! Max Baer Jr. might have been an extraordinary director, actor, producer and screenwriter – but he is definitely remembered mostly for his role as Jethro Bodine! Can you imagine that he might have taken a different career path because he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Santa Clara University? Thankfully, he found his way to Hollywood, and this Beverly Hillbillies actor was even named the last living cast member of the show – in his 80s – after the passing of his co-star Donna Douglas back in 2015.

G. W. Bailey – 77

Combining observance with human emotion to portray the roles of Luther Rizzo in ‘MAS*H’ and Captain Felix in ‘Mannequin’ earned G.W. Bailey the reputation of a crusty comedian. While we absolutely love these characters, it turns out that the actor is not as crabby in reality.

This man has admitted to spending on luxuries like boats until he decided to do something noteworthy. So, Bailey set out to volunteer for a non-profit organization that helps children battle cancer. In his late 70s, between acting and hanging around family, he travels a lot for the organization, which we can only call inspiring!

Jerry Seinfeld – 67

The hilarious catchphrases and epic one-liners of ‘Seinfeld’ have created some of the most infectious comical scenes of all time. But, honestly, the show would have never happened if it weren’t for legendary Jerry Seinfeld, who engineered its forthright screenplay based on real-life experiences, and we instantly fell in love with it!

In college, Jerry was all too eager to try his hand in comedy, doing stand-up for ‘Catch a Rising Star’ in New York. Finally, in 1981, he received an invitation to appear on the ‘Tonight Show,’ where he gained celebrity status. Even though it took years to get his groove on after ‘Seinfeld,’ Jerry’s latest Netflix collaboration, ’23 Hours to Kill’, was definitely worth the wait.
