The Most Luxurious Houses of the Rich and Famous

Jimmy Carter – Georgia

Jimmy Carter is currently the oldest living person who can claim to have served as President of the United States. He is, in fact, 95 years old, and will soon be 96! Despite his wealth and success, Jimmy appears to have chosen to live a modest life. He lives in a $167,500 house that he built himself in the early 1960s. It’s a ranch-style house with reportedly just two bedrooms, and a porch. Given that he receives around $210K per year, like all former presidents, he could easily afford a new place.

Kamala Harris: Undisclosed, Washington DC

Kamala Harris is a well-known figure all around the world. She held several prestigious positions in America’s political elite before running for Vice President, including District Attorney of San Francisco. Kamala successfully won the race for VP and became America’s first female vice president.

Having such a high position in the government entitles Kamala to the Vice President’s residence. The mansion, erected in 1893, is recognized for its gorgeous entry hall and classic columns. The property, which has been the home of American vice presidents since 1977, is a beautiful 12-acre land that is presently the home of a true American icon.

Andrew Cuomo, $1.85 Million, New York

Every time a celebrity purchases or sells a property, it becomes the talk of the town. It is just the same for well-known politicians such as Andrew Cuomo, who owned property with his long-term partner Sandra Lee in Mount Kisco, New York.

His home boasted four bedrooms on 3 acres of land surrounded by a picket fence and shrubbery. It also had a pond, gazebo, and a waterfall to add to its aesthetic and other renovated amenities. Andrew put up this house in the market after his split with Sandra in 2019 and was finally sold in December 2020 at $1.85 million.
