Rick Astley – Never Gonna Give You Up, born in 1966
Rick Astley’s fame started with his single Never Gonna Give You Up which was a number one hit. Due to his voice characteristics, people thought he was African-American. He switched to soul music and soon retired from singing when only 27, just to spend more time with his family. Isn’t that so sweet? Fortunately, he’s made a comeback and is actually quite active these days. He released an album called Beautiful Life back in 2018 and he was seen performing in the Greatest Hits Live tour of Take That in 2019.
