Back in 1968, Gloria Hendry was able to kick-start her career in the film For Love of Icy, however, she struggled to find bigger roles. Fortunately, her big break came as she was cast for the Bond film, Live and Let Die. Her role as Rosie Carver helped her become a social icon as she became the first African-American Bond girl. After the film, she was able to star on several movies in the 70s. However, she later decided to invest money and start her own business which made her say goodbye to her career in acting.
