Justin Timberlake – Myspace – $35 Million
Justin Timberlake has truly come a long way from his days as a boy-band member of NSYNC. He is a very successful singer who managed to build an acting portfolio of his own as well. Aside from all of that, he has also embarked on a number of business ventures. Before people were on Facebook every day, MySpace was actually a very popular social media platform. Timberlake, together with the Specific Media Group, acquired the company back in 2011 for a reported amount of $35 million. They never really revived the site and it was later sold to Time Inc. As of 2018, the Meredith Corporation has ownership of MySpace.
