John Woodvine has appeared in a series of TV shows and films, and while his acting traits were evident, he became more famous as a stage actor. His most successful roles came when he was a part of the Royal Shakespeare Academy, appearing in the iconic Shakespearean act Macbeth, opposite Ian McKellen and Judi Dench. While in the last couple of years he has had some health issues, he has recovered fully, and he keeps landing roles even today, with his age not slowing him down a bit.
