Aunt Nanette Fabray was an brilliant actress, and she inspired her to get into the movies. She Began as a tap dancer and model, and took up a few acting assignments when she was a teenager. In 1960, she became the ‘teen queen’ with ‘Mary Stone’ in ‘The Donna Reed Show’. Post that, she acted in a lot of TV series and movies, and one of her best roles was in the sitcom ‘Coach’. She surprised her fans with her singing ability with ‘Johnny Angel’, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

She had several ‘out-of-work’ spells throughout her successful career. At 56 years of age, she received a liver transplant and survived the auto-immune hepatitis.
