Barbara Walters definitely deserves a spot on our list of Golden Age personas. Walters is a strong and wilful American journalist and host that made her big break through shows like Today, The View and ABC Evening News to name a few! Although this empowering lady started out just as a writer, she slowly climbed up ranks to become an interviewee, director and producer of human interest stories that caught the eye of both America and the world. She’s retired now -but still continues her amazing work behind the scenes for ABC News too.
