Anybody who has seen The NeverEnding Story will not forget the Childlike Empress, and she was played by Tami Stronach, who certainly made the role iconic. She must have made a huge amount of money in the role too because she quit acting almost right after! It’s rare to hear of anybody quitting in the entertainment business when they’re reaching their peak, but hey, maybe Stronach wanted to quit while she was ahead in the game! In 2010, she married Greg Steinbruner and the couple has a daughter. She doesn’t look so childlike anymore, though…
