Looks, an angelic voice, and acting capabilities – Glynis Johns has it all. She first rose to stardom when she appeared on the Broadway play A Little Night Music, but cinema fans would recognize her from Mary Poppins, where she portrayed the role of Winifred Banks. We can still hear her singing Send in The Clowns, and her voice echoed throughout Hollywood. Her lucrative career and robust checking account peaked when she starred on  The Sundowners, for which she received an Academy Award nomination. Her son, Gareth Forwood, whom she had with her first husband Anthony Forwood, was also an actor who unfortunately passed away in 2007.
