Former Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter once weighed in at 240 pounds. His friends and advisers more than likely suggested the singer to consider weight loss pills to help with his figure. It didn’t help that he went through a ten-year battle with substance addiction and he also received a cardiomyopathy diagnosis in 2009. Nick, however, had different plans. He hired a personal trainer and made regular trips to the gym. He also devised a strict diet plan which didn’t exceed 1,400 calories. Talk about dedication! He lost a total of 65 pounds, thanks to his exercise routine and meal plan.
