When this popular talk show host reached 260 pounds, Ricki Lake decided to take back control of her health. That was way back in 2007 after years of being sad due to her weight. Initially she cut her calorie intake drastically and began running every day, but after a while Lake regained some of the weight back. The change came once more in 2011 when she was convinced to join Dancing with the Stars. She only took third place but was successful at losing 20 pounds. Lake has also credited using the services of healthy food deliveries and becoming more active for her ability to keep the weight off.

Here’s another funny guy who managed to lose a lot of his weight by changing habits and training regularly. Zach Galifianakis’ chubby looks have always been part of his trademark, just like his crazy ways and weird lines. Yet, as much as he loved being a funnyman, he knew that staying overweight wasn’t going to lead to a happy ending. Unlike other stars, he didn’t go under the knife to shed his extra pounds; he just left some unhealthy habits behind! Galifianakis credits cutting back on drinking sugary drinks as one of the factors that helped him lose weight.

She has been battling ongoing weight gain and appearance changes for years, and is now looking great as a 50-year old! In 2017, she welcomed her first child, and she then teamed up with trainer Paulette Sybliss to lose all her baby weight. Turns out that exercising for 1 hour 4 times a week worked wonders for Jackson, who didn’t do any cardio at all, as Sybliss revealed!
