Unfortunately, she became successful very early on in life and at the age of 12 felt like she had to restrict her diet to become a good gymnast. That’s a crazy amount of pressure for someone so young and as she matured and grew, so did the strength of an eating disorder. Thankfully the Olympic gold medalist managed to implement a healthy diet plan and just exercise regularly to ensure her weight stayed healthy.
