Here’s another funny guy who managed to lose a lot of his weight by quitting drinking and training regularly. Zach Galifianakis’ chubby looks always made us giggle, just like his crazy ways and weird lines. Yet, as much as he loved being a funnyman, he knew that staying overweight wasn’t going to lead to a happy ending. Unlike other stars, he didn’t go under the knife to shed his extra pounds; he just left some unhealthy habits behind! Galifianakis credits cutting back on drinking as one of the factors that helped him lose weight.

Oprah Winfrey – 77 Pounds – Diet & Exercise

Large or small, everyone loves Oprah. While she has been gaining and losing over the years, her highest was 237 pounds back in 1999, until she lost some weight and stayed quite stable at a healthy 160 pounds. She even uploaded her weight loss stories on her own website. Becoming a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, and investing in the company, also motivated her to adopt a healthier lifestyle. While on Weight Watchers she lost 26 pounds. She, however, said that she’s no longer interested in going on any diet in the near future.
