143. George Reeves – GUNSHOT WOUND
George Reeves was known for being the Superman of the 1950s. He portrayed the superhero in the TV show The Adventures of Superman. He also had a small role in the successful movie adaptation Gone with The Wind. He was 45 years old when he died of complications from a gunshot wound. Although it was confirmed that he took his own life, there were still rumors that it was a case of homicide or accidental shooting. Just nine years before his death, his ex-wife Ellanora Reeves had also died of cancer.
