168. Leslie Howard – AVIATION INCIDENT
Leslie Howard did work as an actor, producer, and director. The Gone with the Wind star also had a prolific journalism career, as he often published articles for newspapers such as The New York Times. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for his performances on Pygmalion and Berkeley Square. He was a victim of a homicide that took place up in the air. His plane was followed by an “unidentified aircraft” which later led him to his death. We wonder what the defense attorneys made of the case when it happened during the ’40s.
