185. Alexis Arquette – CARDIAC ARREST
Alexis Arquette is another one of those cases in which acting seems to run in the family. She was the sister of actors Patricia and David Arquette. Alexis accounted for a great media hassle when she underwent gender reassignment surgery. The procedure was documented and released as a film in 2007, titled Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother. She was an active LGBT activist and advocate who battled with HIV which eventually led to a cardiac arrest, according to her medical lawyers. The cabaret performer was only 47 when she died in 2016.
