211. Tyler Sash – MIXTURE OF DRUGS
A promising football player, Tyler Sash started playing safety for the University of Iowa before quitting to pursue a career in the NFL. During his time in college, he was considered for the Lott Trophy award, which is given to the best defensive players. He was suspended for taking a banned drug and eventually dropped by the New York Giants. Things deteriorated after that, including an arrest in 2014 for public intoxication. It all ended in 2015 when he was found dead in his home. A mixture of drugs had caused his death, although chronic traumatic encephalopathy was also discovered.
