230. Kim Shattuck – AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS (ALS)
Kim Shattuck was famous as the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the band The Muffs. Before The Muff, she was was a member of The Pandoras in 1985 till 1990. Kim was born in 17 of July 1963. She then joined The Beards in 2001. Sadly, Kim died on the 2nd of October 2019 due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Kim has been struggle with ALS. Her death was confirmed by her husband. Her husband, Kevin Sutherland wrote and posted, “This morning, the love of my life passed peacefully in her sleep after a two-year struggle with ALS,”. Her bandmate was devestated wit the news and wrote, “My heart is forever broken.”. Kim once confirmerd in an interview with Vents magazine that ALS runs in her dad’s side of the family.
