Hollywood mourn again today for losing another talented star, Diahann Carroll. She was the first black woman to have her own Primetime show. Diahann was an actor, model and also a singer. She gained international acclaim for her role in Dynasty, a 1980s series. Her outstanding talent and performance made her won a Tony Award for a 1962 Broadway’s, No Strings. She was very dedicated and wanted to be the first ever black sassy person on television. At 84, on the 4 of October 2019, Diahann had passed away after battling with breast cancer for 3 years.
