32. James Rebhorn – MELANOMA
James Rebhorn didn’t think he would become an actor. When pursuing higher studies, he actually went for political science! However, he would later get a Master of Fine Arts after discovering his true passion. Rebhorn became a well-established actor who had over a hundred projects. His most remarkable role was in the ’90s movie, Independence Day. He developed melanoma in 1992 and was still receiving treatment for the illness when he died in March 2014 at 65 years old. At the time, he also appeared as a regular on the super-popular TV series White Collar and Homeland.
