35. Anita Mui – CERVICAL CANCER
Singer-actress Anita Mui was known to be the “Madonna of Asia,” having toured in numerous European countries with dozens of studio albums in her portfolio. Her irreverent and over the top style also added to her getting said nickname. She won multiple awards during her career and became a regional icon. But when the famous Cantopop Diva was only 40 years old, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. If there was one positive thing that came out of her illness, it was Mui’s having had the time to prepare her will. She died in December 2003.
