The 1940s was when actress Honor Blackman first starting her successful career. Her very first role was in the movie Fame Is the Spur. In the years that followed, Honor was seen to appear in the likes of The Virgin and The Gypsy, as well as A Night to Remember and The Square Peg. Although such films helped her career and her recognition, perhaps her most well-known role and the one that cemented her as a Hollywood star, was when she played Cathy Gale in the TV series The Avengers. Playing Cathy Gold made her career soar, as she was then cast in Goldfinger as a Bond Girl, whether she starred with Sean Connery. So far, we haven’t heard of her hanging up her acting shoes just yet.
