Her popular brothers, Nick and Aaron Carter (Backstreet Boys) are still shocked that their sister Leslie died of a medication overdose at 25. The aspiring singer was never associated with alcohol or drug addiction, but she was suffering from depression and anxiety, though. The tragic event took place in 2015. Carter had released 2 singles before the tragic event, while her studio album Like Wow! was never released. She had gotten married to Mike Ashton in 2008. She gave birth to their first and only daughter, Alyssa, in 2011, one year before her death.
