There was no time to waste. The ominous message suggested someone knew where Harper was. Dennis sprang into action, grabbing his keys and heading for his car. His first stop would be the train station, the last place he had seen her.
It was a long shot, but perhaps Harper had returned to search for her phone. As he weaved through traffic, Dennis’s thoughts were laser-focused on finding her before it was too late. He parked hastily and began scanning the crowded station, hoping to catch a glimpse of the girl.
