Georges Marciano – $24.5 Million, Beverly Hills
The 2010 gubernatorial candidate, Georges Marciano, may not be considered an entirely successful politician, but he certainly made more money in his lifetime than most successful ones. His house is a fancy old mansion in Beverly Hills designed by architect Robert D. Farquhar and built in 1927 for Columbia Pictures head Harry Cohn. Marciano bought it in 1988 and had been attempting to flip it recently without much success. At best, he can settle quickly into the $24.5-million property and enjoy his retirement if selling it off doesn’t work.
