TV personality Simon Cowell and his family are known to have a very soft spot for the Slipstream superyacht, which they have rented numerous times during their frequent vacations. With seven cabins, a master suite, VIP lounge, and jet skis, the Slipstream does sound like a heavenly home away from home. And with room for 12 guests and 15 crew members, there’s really more than enough room for a family. Although Simon’s $550-million net worth can easily cover the expense, we can’t help but wonder if maybe it’s better financial planning to just buy a yacht instead?
