THE MOST MEMORABLE WWF/WWE STARS – THEN AND NOW

Raymond Louis Heenan AKA Bobby “The Brain” Heenan – Died at 72

The late Bobby Heenan was considered as the greatest wrestling manager in the history of the sport and not without a reason. He managed a number of wrestlers who became very famous, thanks to him. Nicknamed “The Brain,” Bobby was also a color commentator and a comedian who hosted The Bobby Heenan Show. He had two memoirs published, the first one in 2002 (the foreword was written by Hulk Hogan), and the second in 2004. Towards the end of his life, Bobby had made only a few appearances after he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2002. The cancer was in remission since 2004 but Bobby died of organ failure in September 2017.
