Iris Westman – 113
Nicholas Westman and Mathilda Erickson welcomed their baby girl in 1905 and her gene inheritance must have been a strong one since she was the only one of the three children to survive childhood. Little did she know, though, that her health would be so strong that she would become a supercentenarian as well one day! Iris Westman is now 113 years old and is the oldest living North Dakotan. In 1928, she graduated from university having attended library science classes! After her studies, she pursued a career as a teacher and never got married.
