Tea with Hitler
In this chilling photo, we see the monstrous fuhrer himself laughing and joking over tea – an eerie insight into the daily reality of one of history’s most appalling human beings. He was joined by the wife Albert Forster, a Nazi politician, in 1937, who is seen laughing at something Hitler has said.
At this time, Hitler was in a relationship with Eva Braun. However, their affair was kept secret by the Nazis until after their joint suicide in 1945. They both poisoned themselves with cyanide, and Hitler shot himself in the head. They’d been married for 40 hours.
