Bob Newhart (The Bob Newhart Show), 1972 – 1978

Bob Newhart is best remembered for the success he has achieved in acting and stand-up comedy. Newhart first gained popularity after he released a live album called The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart back in 1960. He eventually became an even bigger star when he did The Bob Newhart Show as Dr. Robert Hartley. His other popular roles were on Newhart, Elf, and Catch-22. Newhart sure lives comfortably to this day, thanks to the earnings he’s accumulated through his many years in show business. In more recent times, Newhart is known for playing Arthur Jeffries on The Big Bang Theory.
