Stars From 60s-70s TV Shows That Are Still Alive

Ron Howard (Happy Days), 1974 – 1984

During the 1960s and the 1970s, Ron Howard was a very popular young actor. He started making a name for himself when he appeared on The Andy Griffith Show as Opie Taylor. He later became an even bigger star when he began playing Richie Cunningham in the sitcom, Happy Days. By the 1980s, Howard slowed down on the acting scene and decided to focus on building an impressive directorial portfolio. Some of his most popular projects were Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, and Frost/Nixon. His most recent project was 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story.
