Susan Dey (The Partridge Family), 1970 – 1974
Susan Dey was very lucky when it comes to her acting career because the first project she was cast in made her a star. Dey’s debut was on The Partridge Family and she was the one who played Laurie Partridge. Her performance as Laurie earned her a nomination at the Golden Globe Awards. Dey’s fame and success grew further when she started appearing on L.A. Law during the 1980s. In fact, she bagged a Best Actress award from the Golden Globes for her performance. These days, Dey has stopped acting and is reportedly a board member of a treatment center for victims of indecent assault.
