Celebrities You Thought Are Long Gone But They Are Not Planning Their Retirement Just Yet

Celebrities come and go over the years, and we often forget about stars we used to love and idolize at one time during our lives. Sometimes, we even regard them as ‘dead’ if we haven’t heard about them in a while! However, you may be surprised to hear that some of the greatest actors, singers and other well-known public personalities are still very much alive and kicking! That’s why we’ve come up with this list to figure out who is still working or enjoying life in the next chapter of their lives – in retirement.

Karen Grassle – 78

Karen Grassle is an American actress who is now 76 years old. Her career as an actress was mostly taken up by her role as Caroline Ingalls on the 1970s TV series that we all know and love, Little House On The Prairie. Following her very recognisable role as Caroline, Karen was never really cast in many major roles again, but instead landed smaller, more supporting roles. However she was successful on the stage. She took a step back from acting in the 1980s and then moved to New Mexico. Once she was settled there, she and a partner founded Santa Fe’s Resource Theatre Company. She is worth around $500K.

Linda Evans – Now 78

Linda started acting in the year 1960 when she acted in The Big Valley as Audra Barkley, the daughter of Victoria Barkley. She is famous and very well-known for her acts in television shows and soap opera and in 1980s, she became one of the start of a soap opera called, Dynasty and held the role of Krystle Carrington from 1981 to 1989. She then decided to retired in 1997. Her last act was as Joan Curtis and Shaw Canfield in a television film, The Stepsister. With her success in showbiz, she is happily retired with a net worth of $35 million.

Yvette Mimieux – 78

Yvette Mimieux is an American actress who first appeared on the Hollywood scene in the 1960s. She started her acting career when she signed with MGM. Her contract with MGM didn’t get her very far at all though. It wasn’t until she was cast as the star in the 1968 movie Three In The Attic that she became truly recognised as a serious actress. Then in the 1970’s she landed more great roles in productions such as Jackson County Jail. Her acting career enabled her to create a wealth of $5 million. She retired in 1992.
