Elinor Donahue – Born in 1937
Elinor Donahue is best known for her act in the ’50s sitcom, Father Knows Best as Betty Anderson. Her career started in 1942 when she was only 5 years old, after appearing in a dancing-chorus film. After that, she took a few small roles during her teenage years in several films like, Love Is Better Than Ever, Three Daring Daughters, and Girls Town.
Her career hit it off when she starred in Father Knows Best. Elinor decided to retire in 2011 after 69 years in show business and her last role was as Judge Marie Anderson, a guest role on The Young and the Restless.
