Gianni Versace – $47 Million, Miami
Versace is a legacy, and the man behind the name – fashion designer Gianni Versace, was quite a reputable fellow as well. In fact, his 19,000-square-foot property is quite befitting of his status. The deluxe house is dubbed the Casa Casuarina and was listed for $125 million but eventually sold for under $50 million. It has a mosaic-tiled pool lined with 24-karat gold, an elaborate courtyard, ten bedrooms, and eleven baths. It was marketed by the “Jills” and was to become the most expensive house ever sold in Miami, but that didn’t work out.
