Sammy Hagar – Cabo Wabo Tequila – $91 Million
Sammy Hagar a.k.a The Red Rocker was a very popular rock star from the 1970s thanks to his time with Montrose. He was known for earning money as a solo artist by the 1980s but he also became the frontman of Van Halen in 1985. Although, he only stayed with the band for eleven years. He was able to launch his own tequila brand called Cabo Wabo that later also became the name of the restaurants and nightclubs he opened. Gruppo Campari bought 80% of the tequila brand for $80 million back in 2007 and they eventually got the remaining 20% for $11 million three years later.
