175. Olof Palme – ASSASSINATION
Olof Palme served as the Prime Minister of Sweden and the Swedish Social Democratic Party leader. He was in his second term as Prime Minister and he was the head of the Swedish Social Democratic party at the time of his death. In 1986, he was shot in the back while he was walking home from a movie theater. Criminal lawyers never found out what was the motive or who was behind the murder. The case remains unsolved until today, and it was reported that Palme didn’t have a bodyguard at the time, as political violence in Sweden wasn’t something frequent.
