Jennifer Beals – Flashdance, born in 1963

Jennifer Beals appeared in the 1983 blockbuster movie Flashdance and instantly got her fame as the dancing queen. Every girl back then wanted to be and dance like her. Her dancing scenes were copied in many videos and other movies all around the world. However, she didn’t care much and returned to Yale to finish her degree, being a Yale student while filming Flashdance. Even after graduation, she has continued with her acting career but has never actually had the same level of popularity again. Beals is set to star in a new show called The L Word: Generation Q.
