WWE Stars Then & Now: Take A Look At These Mega Stars And What They’re Up To

Yokozuna – Died in 2000

Born as Rodney Agatupa Anoa, Yokozuna took his ring name in reference to the famous Japanese Sumo wrestler of the same name. It may appall you that while he wrestled as a Japanese representative, Rodney was actually a Samoan-American. During his short wrestling career, he was able to win the World Heavyweight championship title and the WWF Tag team Championship title two times. He was the 3rd fastest debutant in the wrestling industry to win the WWF Championship after Brock Lesnar & Sheamus. Unfortunately, Yokozuna died in 2000 due to heart complications.

Paul Michael Levesque AKA Triple H – Age 50

Born as Paul Michael Levesque, Triple H (Hunter Hurst Helmsley) began his wrestling career with the ring name Terra Ryzing. It was a different scenario when he entered the industry and he even had to face minor setbacks before he could achieve the pinnacle of his career. Currently, he is keeping himself busy with his investments, business ventures and also NXT, SmackDown which has surely lowered the time he used to devote to his fitness sessions. Considering his lifestyle and diet plans at the age of 48, achieving his old-self seems to be a distant reality.

Paul Donald Wight II AKA Big Show – Age 47

With the monstrous persona, it was viable for him to name himself as the Big Show. Wight earned the title of World Champion eight times and has held the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice. Considering how big his fortune in the bank is already thanks to his wrestling career, it’s not a surprise that he isn’t that active in the ring anymore. His last ring appearance was in Smackdown Live back in November 2018. A hamstring injury is actually what caused him to be inactive these days. There is still a possibility we see him in the ring once he recovers.
