Bruno Leopoldo Francesco Sammartino AKA Bruno Sammartino – Aged 82
Bruno Sammartino must be one of the only few Italians who made it big in the wrestling industry. Starting his career in 1959, Bruno became best known for his period with WWF where he held the WWF Championship title for more than 11 years (4040 days). Referred to as The Living Legend, Sammartino’s name has been included in the list of the Greatest Professional Wrestlers in the history of WWE/WWF. Back in 2018, he passed away at the age of 82 years old. His cause of death was said to be multiple organ failure, which was caused by the heart problems he had.
