Barbara Rush is still praised for her acting performances, with her career’s highlight taking place in 1954, when her appearance on It Came From Outer Space granted her her first and only Golden Globe Award. Rush’s father was a lawyer, and she had the financial resources to the lessons needed to launch her acting career. Her TV activity has been remarkable as well, with the 94-year-old star landing lead roles in historic series such as Peyton Place and All My Children.
