Superman always needed a strong woman by his side, and in the ’50s, that woman happened to be Phyllis Coates. She started her career by being a comedian and dancer in skits. Fortunately, things changed in 1951 when she landed the role of Lois Lane in the classic TV series, The Adventures of Superman. The series had a great impact on her fortunes and she must have needed the services of a wealth management professional. She became a household name on TV, though not for long. She also appeared in the movie Superman and the Mole Men.
