THEY WILL FOREVER BE MISSED: CELEBS WHO PASSED AWAY IN TRAGIC CIRCUMSTANCES

218. B.B. King – CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE & DIABETIC COMPLICATIONS

A legend in the blues genre, B. B. King wrote and performed a lot of number one hits like You Know I Love You and Woke Up This Morning. His career lasted almost until his death, with nearly 200 concerts per year. He had been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 1990, and the disease had partially caused his death. He passed away in 2015 due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease and congestive heart failure brought on by the atherosclerotic vascular disease. He’s considered one of the most influential guitarists as many newer generation musicians have embraced his style of play.
