Danielle Fishel – Struggled With Weight Issues
Danielle Fishel is best known for her role as Topanga Lawrence-Matthews on the 1990s TV series Boy Meets World and it’s 2014 spin-off Girl Meets World which is still airing on the Disney channel.
Fishel struggled for a long time with her weight and appeared in 2006 on The Tyra Banks Show where she openly talked about her dramatic weight loss journey. Today she is an ambassador for Nutrisytem. Despite her promoting the brand she gained a lot of weight again.
In the past it was often reported that she dated her co-star Ben Savage – This is actually not true. Fishel said that they went on a date and quickly realized that they are more family than lovers. She actually dated though N’Sync member Lance Bass from 1999 to 2000. We wonder how she didn’t realize that he is gay.
In 2013 she graduated from California State University. During her studies she worked as a tutor and met Tim Belusko who she had married in 2013. Unfortunately, Fischel filed for divorce in 2015.
