24. A Secret Shot

As everybody knows, taking photos of the Supreme Court in session is forbidden. And yet some of these clandestine shots exists… but how? It was taken in 1932 by a young woman who came up with an ingenious way of capturing this scene.

What she did was to cut a hole in her handbag, and snuck a camera into the session! In a move which seemed to have pre-empted the kind of spy tactics of James Bond, she achieved something which few others had ever managed. In the end, she ended up making history. So mission accomplished!
