RED CARPET DRESSES AND SUITS THAT TOOK THE PAPARAZZI BY SURPRISE

Marilyn Monroe – “The Subway Dress” – $5.6 Million

There isn’t a single person in this world who doesn’t recognize Marilyn Monroe’s iconic scene in The Seven Year Itch, where her gown lifts up due to air coming from vents below her feet. Until today, this had been her trademark scene, and Monroe’s white dress often referred to as “The Subway Dress,” has become the ultimate film memorabilia since then. In fact, it was sold in 2011 at an auction for the whopping price of $5.6 million – the most expensive film memorabilia ever! We bet everyone would trade it though for another film with Monroe in it, who died when she was just 36 years old.
