Rare Photos From The History Books You Have to See to Believe

45. Fawning Around

Audrey Hepburn was and remains one of the most famous faces in the world. She was often snapped out and about with her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, but she was also fond of taking walks with her pet deer, too, as this photo attests.

She fell in love with her deer when it was a fawn, and they met on the set of the movie Green Mansions in 1959, when the director requested she took the animal home with her to bond. Audrey named the deer Pippin, and for a while, the two of them were completely inseparable. Here we see the pair on a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, clearly enjoying each other’s company!
