ALF was one of the favorite sitcoms of the 1990s, and Michu grew in the hearts of many fans with his authentic portrayal. He got to appear alongside the Prince of Pop, Michael Jackson, for a Pepsi commercial. A lot had changed for Michu after he suffered a heart attack in 2008. A series of medical treatments were on the agenda that probably prolonged his life until he finally threw in the towel at 76 in 2016. He acted until 2015, where he participated in a project titled Death To Cupid.
